I live in the Pacific Northwest. I also grew up here, backpacking the Cascades with my dad and my grandparents. I have a deep reverence for nature and a longing to find wilderness spaces. Below are a few places I’ve had the privilege and wonder to encounter.

Tahoma (known commonly as Mount Rainier) is a sacred mountain. I try to make pilgrimage here at least once a year.
Once a year in early Springtime, I backpack with some close companions into the Grand Canyon for a few nights.
Skiing at Alpental, in the Central Cascades of Washington State.
OK, not really a mountain, but in 2022 I spent nine days hiking the Chemin GR20 through France.
